Refund & Cancellation Policy

At NJTechland LLC (“NJTechland,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we strive to provide excellent service and clear expectations. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which refunds or credits may be issued for our services. By scheduling, purchasing, or engaging with NJTechland, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Dispatch Cancellation

  • Refunds will be valid only if a dispatch is cancelled at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours prior to the scheduled dispatch are not eligible for a refund.

 

2. Site Visit Fees

A minimum site visit fee of $185.00 RBH (which includes 2 hours of labor) is non-refundable once the technician has been dispatched.

3. Materials, Equipment, and Lift Rentals

  • If materials, lifts, or equipment have already been purchased, rented, or delivered before a cancellation, the full cost of these items will be billed to the client.
  • This includes purchase costs, rental fees, or return charges associated with the order.

4. Client-Caused Delays

  • Customer- or end-user-caused delays will be considered billable events.
  • Additional labor time will be billed in 15-minute increments per technician.
  • If a lift or special equipment is required for extended delays, the additional rental cost will also be charged.

5. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled deadline will incur a penalty of $100.00 per technician, per request.
  • Rescheduling made prior to 24 hours will not incur penalties but may require a new scheduling confirmation.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
  • Credits may be offered in place of refunds, at NJTechland’s sole discretion.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Site visit fees once a technician is dispatched.
  • Union labor charges (if required).
  • Permit fees or labor associated with obtaining permits.
  • Work performed under hazardous or restricted conditions not disclosed in advance.

8. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Events

NJTechland is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Site closures.
  • COVID-19 or other public health emergencies.
